If your feet are on the ground and your knees are bent when you sit on the seat of the bike, it generally means that the seat is sitting too low for you and too close to the crossbar. This is because when you are pedaling with this bike, your knees are going to come up too high. The handlebars you choose are another important aspect. As you probably know, there are many different types of handlebars. Those handlebars which extend horizontally out offer great control for maneuvering. These kinds of handlebars are also great in distributing your weight evenly. If read you are using your bike for racing, then you want to pick some handlebars that are more slim and allow you to lean forward on your bike so you can go faster.
